Inside the Tatra Mountains there is a small village named Głod, noone from outside world yet discovered this village to which the path is very well hidden and narrow, the light is coming only from cracks in the mountain roof that are enough to let people of this village live, leaving the village to the outside world is forbidden, therefore there is no technology, electricity, or other types of food. The village counts about 50 people, but why are they not leaving? Why are they staying inside the village even though they know how to leave? That’s because they have a task, a task to protect the world from a snake god of hunger named Uenohebi*. Uenohebi is a Iwakuni white snake with red eyes. He can change his size as he pleases to certain lowest and highest points. The village has to prepare meals for him everyday but his hunger is almost unsatisfiable, yet this is the only way to keep him from exiting and bringing terror to the world beyond. In the day Uenohebi slithers around the village observing people, learning their ways of living, even learning how to speak their language and after a long time he is able to speak it fluently.November 18th 2025 22:43Uenohebi sleeps in his little cave without knowing what’s happening outside… The village has been discovered by people beyond the mountain. It has been discovered 2 days ago by a tourist that went into a narrow gap, there he saw the village but decided to tell the authorities about this place. Right now the authorities try to talk to village people but with no success, they still use old language and are very aggressive as they think mostly about preserving the world from Uenohebi, the village attack but they lose immediately without possession of any modern weapons, guns go off, screams are being heard, blood has been spilled, survivors have been taken with the authorities to the main city.November 19th 2025 07:31Uenohebi wakes up and is concerned by the lack of sounds, he goes outside and sees: corpses everywhere on the floor, most of them are near the exit from the mountain, it was said that without giving meals to Uenohebi, he will begin devouring the world, the pact has been made thousands of years ago. But, Uenohebi after so many years of interacting with humans, learning from them, seeing how they live, he started feeling… sorrow, after all they all just agreed to fed him to protect the world, but also they weren’t scared of him, like he was one of them even while being a snake deity. After looking and counting all the corpses, he sees that there are some survivors, he decides to look for them and free them from whoever did all this. But for it to work he also needs a disguise in the human world, he needs to become human himself, and that’s where his special ability comes, Uenohebi after devouring a creature with brain, he’s able to turn into it. But because most creatures have low intelligence it wouldn’t work with them, except humans, human brains are so well developed even though they make so many mistakes in their life, it’s perfect match for Uenohebi. After looking through the corpses, he chooses a person that he thinks will be perfectly fine for disguise, after devouring the corpse, he slowly turns into a human. After 2 hours of getting used to his new pale body with red eyes and having to learn how to dress up, he leaves the village and goes into his new mission: find the rest of the survivors from this massacre.*Głod - you pronounce it like “gwod” and it has similar name to word “głód” which means hunger in polish
